Paul Carleton is founder and Managing Partner of Carleton McKenna & Company (previously Carleton Advisors). He has more than thirty years experience in corporate and investment banking focusing on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activities for both private and public corporations. Prior to establishing Carleton McKenna, Paul was founder and Senior Managing Director of Carleton, McCreary, Holmes & Company, a position he maintained through the firm’s life span and acquisition by KeyCorp in 1996. Paul was previously a Partner, Member of the Board of Directors, Senior Managing Director and head of Corporate Finance at the regional investment banking firm of McDonald & Company.
Among the many committees Paul currently sits on he serves on the Boards of the Playhouse Square Foundation; Bluecoats, Inc., Buehler’s Food Markets, Inc., Westfield Bank Inc., Baldwin Wallace University and Clinical Outcomes Management Systems, LLC, (COMS, LLC). He is a member of the Mayor’s Task Force of the City of Shaker Heights. He is the former Chairman of the Baldwin Wallace University Board of Trustees; and formerly on the Boards of University Hospitals Case Medical Center, University Hospitals Medical Group and the FBI Citizens’ Academy Foundation.
Paul earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University and his Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University. He also received an honorary doctorate degree from Baldwin Wallace University.
