Chuck G. Fenske
Chuck leads the Architecture, Engineering & Construction practice at Carleton McKenna & Co. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning M&A, corporate finance, and the construction industry, and advises owners of specialty contractors, engineering and architectural firms, infrastructure services businesses, and building products companies.
Chuck Fenske is a Managing Director at Carleton McKenna & Company, where he leads the firm's Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) practice. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and the construction industry. Chuck advises business owners and management teams on M&A and capital transactions, with a particular focus on specialty contractors, engineering and architectural firms, infrastructure services, and building products companies. He has successfully advised on numerous transactions across the AEC sector.
Prior to joining Carleton McKenna, Chuck led the Cleveland office of Houlihan Capital, where he advised clients on both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Earlier in his career, he held roles with Pepper Construction, Knoch Construction, and Pease Capital, giving him a combination of transaction experience and firsthand knowledge of the construction industry.
Chuck serves on the Master of Finance Advisory Board at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is a former National Board Member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Past Vice Chairman of ABC Ohio, and Past Chairman of the ABC Central Ohio Chapter.
Chuck also co-founded State of Mind Hudson, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and reducing stigma in the Hudson, Ohio community.
He earned his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and holds a BS in Accounting and Construction Management from The Ohio State University. Chuck is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a FINRA-registered representative, holding the Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
